Beautiful Blue Sky. Ought. Album Sun Coming Down. Beautiful Blue Sky Lyrics

Ought - Sun’s Coming Down Songtext. Have you been above ground There is something for sale Did you hear the sound Did you hear the sound I don't think so. I am picking up satellite It is coming out of my mouth I am talking out of my ass Because my heart is not open. Just like that it changes Just like that it changes Just like that it changes The night, the night.

Ought returns with their second full-length album Sun Coming Down, following a break-out year for the Montréal-based rock quartet that saw its 2014 debut More Than Any Other Day. Having spent most of 2014 on the road, Ought settled into a long harsh Montreal winter hibernation, spending the first few months of 2015 writing, playing the occasional local gig, and eventually heading back to the Hotel2Tango recording studio in the spring to lay down a batch of fresh tunes. Release date: 18 September 2015.

Talk about Ought - Sun Coming Down

poster included?

Yep. Same style poster as the first Ought LP. But no lyric sheet, oddly enough, which is a little frustrating given that they could have at least put the lyrics on the back of the poster. I don't always want to go the internet to read lyrics when I'm listening to music.

Excellent alternative rock..But again, why does it have to sound so shitty!!!? Constellation again puts out good music, but not even worth it to buy a vinyl copy because their recording/sound mastering is so bad. I guess it would play fine on any cheap mp3 player, or streaming service, but when you buy a vinyl copy, you expect better than this. There are too many independent labels out there satisfied with the "norm" of the industry: pushing levels to the max and compressing the hell out of the music...And they wonder why people are going deaf?! As independent labels, they should strive to do something different and better than what the major labels are doing...With the "return" of vinyl, there is no reason we should accept the malpractice started by Motown in the 70's and perfected by the major record labels when the CD came to market. Just to think that low budget recordings made in the 70's sound better than this...Just compare the reissue of "the Modern Lovers" with this one and you'll understand. For further information or to educate yourselves about what i am writing about here, see "The dynamic range database" and "the war against Loudness". Thank you.

I agree with everything that you say here. This LP sounds so compressed. This is particularly upsetting given that Ought's songs are so DYNAMIC--most of which is flattened here. I actually think that the mp3s sound better somehow. I think it's a cross between a shitty pressing and a shitty original mastering job. Even though I'm a longtime discogs user, I'm gonna start coming here before I buy ANY new LPs. That said, Ought's first album sounds pretty good on vinyl.
