NerVer Bullfighter (Pavement). In an age where countless generic imitators dominate the airwaves, it’s nice to find the occasional needle in the haystack. Stepping up from his role in Seven Mary Three as bassist to frontman, it’s apparent that Casey Daniel has much more to say than he has with SM3 up to this point. No Cage serves as a fitting first single, while Dumber Than A Bullet screams of menace, and Pipe Dream is (not surprisingly) clearly heavily influenced by 90s-era alternative rock.
