Talk about Blue Aquarius - Blue Aquarius

Zepavitta
Kind of an interesting record actually, and one i'd passed right overmany times in various thrift shops over the years, but it never struckme as being worthy of further investigation. However, I took note whenIt started appearing in in some next level psych deep crate diggers"weird boxes" at local record shows. So when I finally came acrossone recently at Goodwill, I grabbed it, figuring it had to have at leastone redeeming track on it or those dealers wouldn't have been tryingto sell copies of it at record shows for $20. Well my logic proved tobe at least somewhat correct. Side 1 is mostly forgettable pop rockand soul gospel pop, whatever, but side 2 has two fairly decenttracks. One called "Foxfire" is a great horn heavy psych numberthat kind of reminded me of early Mandrill, or Funkedelic. Thetrack immediately following it is decent as well but much morein a jazz funk/ rock style. Definitely worth picking up if you findit at a garage sale or thrift for a few bucks.
