Images is the third album by the American pop group The Walker Brothers. Released in 1967 the album reached number six on the UK Albums Chart. It was the last of their trio of 1960s albums. They would not record together again until 1975's No Regrets. The group's musical accompaniment was directed by Reg Guest and produced by John Franz.

The Walker Brothers was a 1960's pop group founded in California in 1964, that ultimately found fame and fortune in the UK rather than in their homeland. They had a number of top ten albums and singles in the UK during the period 1965–1968, including chart hits with Make It Easy On Yourself and The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore), both of which also made the US top twenty.

The Righteous Brothers version was a huge hit, but it was recorded with far more modest expectations. Phil Spector considered it album filler and released it as a B-side. Meanwhile the Righteous Brothers, who weren't making a dime off of the original any more, decided to re-record the song and release it on Curb, Bill Medley's current label. Since the charts are based on radio airplay (only the original version) and record sales (only the Curb release), both versions landed in the Top 20 at the same time.

In 1990 the Righteous Brothers were again back in the charts, this time with ‘Unchained Melody’ which had been featured in the film Ghost. It got to N. in Britain and N. 3 in the US. Not to miss a trick there was yet another re-release of ‘You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling’, this time the Karaoke perennial managed to get to N. in the UK. In all the song has spent 34 weeks on the UK singles chart. In 1995 actors Robson and Jerome took a double A-side of ‘Unchained Melody’ and ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ to N. – they were not so righteous.
