Vol. 2 picks up where Frank Sinatra's Greatest Hits leaves off, so all of the tracks date from 1968 to 1971, except for "The September of My Years", which dates back to 1965

Much like its predecessor, Frank Sinatra's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 is more effective as a portrait of Sinatra at a particular stage in his career than as a comprehensive collection. Like Greatest Hits, the album mainly consists of pop hits and songs pulled from movie soundtracks, adding in a pair of pop/rock hits for good measure.
