Cavanagh or Cavanaugh is a surname of Irish origin, a variation of the Irish family surname Caomhánach. Cavanagh and its variations are anglicisations of the Irish surname Caomhánach (Caoṁánaċ in traditional Gaelic type). The surname was first assumed by Domhnall, eldest son of the 12th century King of Leinster, Diarmait Mac Murchada in Ireland. A considerable number of anglicised variations of Caomhánach exist, with some of the most common being: "Kavanagh", "Cavanagh", "Kavanaugh" and "Cavanaugh".

WASHINGTON - Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court on Saturday by one of the slimmest margins in American history, locking in a solid conservative majority on the court and capping a rancorous battle that began as a debate over judicial ideology and concluded with a national reckoning over sexual misconduct. As a chorus of women in the Senate’s public galleries repeatedly interrupted the proceedings with cries of Shame!, somber-looking senators voted 50 to 48 - almost entirely along party lines - to elevate Judge Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh is likely to be confirmed by a narrow margin, mostly along partisan lines. Susan Collins and Jeff Flake. However, some Republicans were concerned that Flake would change his mind, since he had called for a delay in the vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation to allow the FBI to conduct a brief investigation into the allegations against the judge. Flake, like Collins, believed that the FBI investigation, which did not corroborate the sexual assault allegations, was thorough. Collins announced her decision in a lengthy speech on the.

Christine Josephine Cavanaugh (née Sandberg; August 16, 1963 – December 22, 2014) was an American actress who had a distinctive speaking style and provided the voice for a large range of cartoon characters.

On the big screen, Cavanaugh – who was adept at voicing male characters – was best known for bringing to life the pig who wanted to be a sheepdog in Babe (1995), based on Dick King-Smith’s 1983 novel The Sheep-Pig. We’ll tell you what’s true. You can form your own view. The success of Babe came in the middle of Cavanaugh’s run (1991-2002) voicing the cowardly toddler Chuckie Finster in the Nickelodeon television series Rugrats and the film spin-offs The Rugrats Movie (1998) and Rugrats in Paris (2000), as well as TV specials and video games. She loved the wonderment and imagination in such animations and said of Chuckie: He’s easy to do because he’s like me. Chuckie and I worry about things – and there’s a lot to be worried about. However, Cavanaugh’s career was short.

The Ford-Kavanaugh sexual assault hearings, explained. The phrase Judge, have you boofed yet? appears on Kavanaugh’s 1983 senior yearbook page. It seemingly corresponds to the phrase Bart, have you boofed yet? which appears on his longtime friend and former classmate Mark Judge’s page. On Kavanaugh’s page, the phrase is one of many that appear to refer to heavy drinking ( 100 kegs or bust and Beach Week Ralph Club ) and sex ( Devil’s Triangle and Renate Alumnius )
