Jardemark started on guitar when he was 12. I bought my first guitar from a friend for one dollar! I had no teacher. I started with a blues record and a chord book. Inspired by Barney Kessel, Larry Carlton and Pat Metheny, Jardemark also learned about jazz from Peter Almqvist when they both worked in a guitar store. Jardemark went to music college when he was 16, studying classical but playing jazz at night  .
