Guitarist/Composer John Schott’s group ACTUAL TRIO celebrates the February 23 release of ACT II, the group’s sophomore release, with a concert at The Backroom in Berkeley. Ranging from joyful tributes to Sonny Rollins, Lee Konitz and the Golden State Warriors to an anguished response to the 2016 election, the disc solidifies and deepens the Bay Area trio’s singular identity.
