In Euclidean geometry, a convex quadrilateral with at least one pair of parallel sides is referred to as a trapezoid (/ˈtræpəzɔɪd/) in American and Canadian English but as a trapezium (/trəˈpiːziəm/) in English outside North America. The parallel sides are called the bases of the trapezoid and the other two sides are called the legs or the lateral sides (if they are not parallel; otherwise there are two pairs of bases)

Another Country is a studio album by singer-songwriter Tift Merritt. It was recorded in the summer of 2007, produced in . by George Drakoulias, and released on February 26, 2008 by Fantasy Records. For her third album, Tift Merritt took hiatus with a piano in Paris and came home with her most personal and powerful songs to date. Merritt has described the writing as a plainspoken look at the distance we all attempt to cross: between two people, between one heart and the rest of the world.

A Quadrature Trapezoid Voltage Controlled Oscillator. Part 3, Trapezoid Waveform Notes. J. Donald Tillman 1 March 2004. Since the trapezoid waveform does not have a real history in electronic music, I thought it would be a good idea to define it a little more completely and investigate some of its properties. Trapezoid waveform specifics. A trapezoid wave is like a cross between a triangle wave and a square wave; effectively a slewing square wave. The waveform is symmetrical, meaning that the time spent slewing positive, holding positive, slewing negative, and holding negative are all equal, and that the slope of the positive ramp is equal and opposite the slope of the negative ramp. The waveform for this article is normalized so that it has a value that ranges from -. to +., a frequency of . rad/sec, and a phase such that its value crosses . in the positive direction at x .

Talk about Trapezoid - Another Country

Shalinrad
Maybe not what you'd expect from 1982, but certainly what you'd expect from Flying Fish...don't let the band name and sleeve scare you off...enjoyable set of old-time folk--"old time fiddle tunes, bluegrass, Irish melodies, jazzy swing, folk," moving back and forth between instrumentals and vocal cuts, the former quite strong, the latter enjoyable as well, with the two young lassies fortunately up front handling the vocals--you have to appreciate that. The two lads reportedly make their own dulcimers, and founding member Paul Reisler was wise enough to let the ladies contribute, mandolin/guitarist/vocalist Lorraine Duisit not only painted the cover and designed the sleeve but also wrote the four originals on the set. Solid set from this West Virginia group.
