Hely-Hutchinson's A Carol Symphony is the hustle and bustle of Christmas Eve, RVW's Fantasia on Christmas Carols and the following soft choral pieces are a snowy Christmas Day, and the Children's Overture and English folk tunes that close out the CD are Boxing Day revelries.
