After Hours is the fifth and final solo studio album by Glenn Frey, released in 2012 (see 2012 in music), four years before his death. The album is very different from Frey's previous rock albums and features material from the Great American Songbook and songs in the same mood by Brian Wilson or Randy Newman. The album charted at number 116 in the .

Like so many of his baby boomer peers, Glenn Frey is getting a little misty as he's reaching his golden years so he's chosen to look back to the past - all the way past rock & roll and to the standards of the days before Elvis, picking a bunch of classics for the mellow covers album After Hours.

Glenn Lewis Frey (/fraɪ/; November 6, 1948 – January 18, 2016) was an American singer, songwriter, actor and founding member of the rock band the Eagles.

This article is about the album by Glenn Frey. The album was released in mid 1988 on MCA in the United States and the United Kingdom, four years after Frey's successful album, The Allnighter and eight years after the demise of the Eagles. The album features eight original songs co-written by Frey with Jack Tempchin and the song "Two Hearts" contributed by Frey's friend, Hawk Wolinski.

After taking a 20-year break from solo albums, the Eagles' Glenn Frey is ready to step back into the spotlight - but don't expect new songs from the man who brought you 'Sexy Girl' and 'The One You Love. Instead, Frey is delivering a collection of pop standards, titled 'After Hours. Frey, who was presumably tired of watching Rod Stewart have all the fun with his 'Great American Songbook' albums, insists his take on songs like 'The Look of Love' and 'The Good Life' is different

After Hours is the fifth and final solo studio album by Glenn Frey, released in 2012 (see 2012 in music), four years before his death. and number 92 in the UK. After Hours was Frey's first new studio solo album in 20 years since 1992's Strange Weather, which was a commercial disappointment.

After Hours, a collection of classic love songs from the 40's to the present, is his sixth solo album and first since 1995. It is also a total departure taking him in a whole new direction. The two-and-a half year project was developed out of Frey's passion for the songs and sound of such artists as Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, and Dinah Washington. Exclusively for Prime members.
