Eric Victor Burdon (born 11 May 1941) is an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was previously the vocalist of rock band The Animals and funk band War. He is regarded as one of the British Invasion's most distinctive singers with his deep, powerful blues-rock voice. He is also known for his aggressive stage performances. In 2008, he was ranked 57th in Rolling Stone's list The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Eric is at the top of his game on this album and he has fine band with him. Its some new music, some covers and some updated Animals songs. If you didn't know who Eric was or recognize some of the songs you wouldn't compare this to the Animals at all. It's very different from sixties music. It's a very solid 70's rock performance. Sun Secrets" recorded in 1974 is a great rock album featuring 3 Animal numbers. Guitarist Aalon Butler is superb. I understand Burdon's objection to these albums . no money etc. but also his 1973 album "Mirage" hasn't been "officialy" released but it's a classic.
