Loudon Wainwright III - I'm Alright flac album

I'm Alright is a 1985 album by Loudon Wainwright III. It was his third release on Rounder Records, recorded in London. It was produced by Richard Thompson, who also played electric lead guitar on several songs. The back cover features a photo of the two together, captioned 'Loud and Rich'. The poignant "Screaming Issue", one of Wainwright's few collaborations – this time with Terre Roche of The Roches – was never compiled, nor has it appeared on a live album.

Loudon Wainwright spent most of the '70s recording for major labels, utilizing increasingly elaborate production. But when he shifted to Rounder Records and stripped down his sound, whether for budgetary or aesthetic reasons, he ended up giving himself an artistic shot in the arm. On his second studio set for Rounder, I'm Alright, he teamed up with Richard Thompson, who had guested on Wainwright's previous album. Thompson produced "I'm Alright" in England, and in addition to his own guitar prowess, he enlisted some first-call .
