Awolnation - I Am flac album

Run is the second studio album by American rock band Awolnation. It was released on March 17, 2015 through Red Bull Records. It was the band's first studio album in four years, following up Megalithic Symphony (2011). Work on the album was primarily done by band frontman Aaron Bruno. He performed the majority of instruments on the album and served as the sole producer and songwriter.

I am very satisfied with this album overall. 2 people found this helpful. AWOLNATION is one of the weirdest, most unique bands I think I've ever come across. I've been following them ever since I saw the music video for Kill Your Heroes, and they have never failed to disappoint me. This album continues their tradition of changing things up and trying new sounds while staying true to the same weirdness that was so present in their first album.

3. Sandwiched between hits on the rock radio stations it dominated from 2011 to 2013, Awolnation's blockbuster "Sail" sounds like Nine Inch Nails covering Nickelback. Awolnation: How 'Sail' Took the Scenic Route to Hot 100 Juggernaut. As evidenced by Bruno's forebears - those aforementioned pop visionaries - there's a long and storied line of geniuses/nutjobs who can anchor their orchestral ambitions with real emotion. Bruno's not there yet, and it's possible he never will be; his rightful place may just be behind the boards rather than in the spotlight.
