Remy Zero is a 1996 self-titled album by Remy Zero, and was produced for Geffen Records. The band recorded it after moving to Los Angeles, where many of them suffered from homelessness and drug abuse. The Album received very little attention despite Radiohead having added Remy Zero to their tour after hearing Remy Zero's original Demo Tapes that appeared on KCRW, a radio station in Santa Monica. High-hat - Stewart Copeland (tracks 7). Engineer - Frankie Blue. Mastered By - Bob Ludwig.

Remy Zero – Remy Zero was a Birmingham, Alabama-based alternative rock band made up of Cinjun Tate, Shelby Tate, Cedric LeMoyne, Jeffrey Cain, and Gregory Slay. Before Remy Zero had released any albums, Radiohead found their demo tape. After that, the band moved from Alabama to Los Angeles to record their first album, Remy Zeros first album, self-titled, drew from these experiences and received little recognition or sales. The subsequent album Villa Elaine caused them to be praised as the big thing. Remy Zeros third album The Golden Hum was also received well, a 50-second version of the song Save Me from The Golden Hum was used as the theme song for WB/CWs Smallville during its ten season run. Remy Zeros music has also been on KCRWs Morning Becomes Eclectic radio show, Remy Zeros song Shattered was used in the films Crazy/Beautiful and Suicide Kings.
