NichelOdeon - Cinemanemico flac album

Starting off with a live album isn't really the norm, but Nichelodeon make it work! Ok, but this isn't a live album in the typical sense - no crowd noise, and the music is very well recorded (not quite as well as in their next release, Il Gioco Del Silenzio, but certainly up there). This is an act that should appeal, I think, to any serious prog head.

Live recording of compositions created in the decade prior, under various manifestations of NichelOdeon. Lyrics and music by Claudio Milano, except as noted above.

Nichelodeon Cinemanemico. Published May 12, 2009. Milan-based Nichelodeon make music to be staged and dramatically acted to. Maurizio Fasoli plays piano in a grand declamatory style. It sets up and supports Claudio Milano's -choirboy vocals beautifully, lifting them up, following the narrative arc with unerring dynamic shadings.

The compositions on this album have been written from the late ‘90s onwards, all of them performed by various ensembles over the years. For this production a band was assembled and all tracks are live recordings.
