The aptly-labeled doomgaze outfit has released a number of EPs and split releases, each one seeing the band gradually coming into their own. Each batch of new material released showcases the band further exploring that enigmatic abyss between groove-laden sludge, post-hardcore and psychedelic shoegaze. While 2014’s Rumors EP had more of a sound to it, The Camel, The Lion, The Child is more expansive and cinematic in scope. Down-tuned guitars cycle between serpentine dances and aggressive grooves while being enshrouded in a dense fog of effects and synth-generated ambience.
