The King's Singers are a British a cappella vocal ensemble founded in 1968. They are named after King's College in Cambridge, England, where the group was formed by six choral scholars. In the United Kingdom, their popularity peaked in the 1970s and early 1980s. Thereafter they began to reach a wider American audience, appearing frequently on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in the United States.

The group has consistently been welcomed on the world’s great stages throughout its history – from London’s Royal Albert Hall to the Opera House in Sydney or New York’s Carnegie Hall – as well as being ambassadors for musical excellence across the globe

The King's Singers are a good group - so my expectations were high. This recording treats them well with a very clear and closely miked performance, however it's in an appropriately resonant space to serve the music well. The higher registers are especially well done. As all of The King's Singers music, I love it. I have been listening to them for as long as I can remember, and have enjoyed them for just as long. This seems to be a compilation of their Christmas music; 1 of the songs is definitely on another album. The quality of The King's Singers is not lost in the slightest, in that regard it is just as wonderful as any other
