This album is a prime example: The album covers were different, the Columbia Stereo label was different. The Stereo version had liner notes, (borrowed from the 1955 Dancing Sound LP CL 684), while the mono version had only advertisements. While Larry went over to RCA Victor, Les Elgart came up with some new ideas: a Live LP, The Les Elgart On Tour album, released in 1959. Funny, this is Columbia Records only attempt to catch this great band live. Very well recorded for it's time.
