Silence is the third studio album by Swedish post-hardcore band Blindside. Produced by Howard Benson, it was released on August 20, 2002 through Elektra Records, as the band's major label debut. Silence was Blindside's major breakthrough and generated the hit single "Pitiful" as well as the follow-up singles "Sleepwalking" and "Caught a Glimpse. All music composed by Christian Lindskog, Simon Grenehed, Tomas Näslund, Marcus Dahlström.

Silence marks Blindside's major-label debut, and finds the group reverting back to the initial aggressive alternative rock from its eponymous debut, yet the maturity and slick production are quite evident. Working with Howard Benson, the members of Blindside have seemingly pushed themselves to the limit to propel every song on this 13-track outing with sincere emotion, and in the process these men have effectively learned how to write hit songs.

They became well known around the cities local scene and released several demos and an album 'A Thought Crushed My Mind' before they singed with Elektra in 2000 and issued 'Silence' in 2002.
