Crazy Horse is the debut album by Crazy Horse, released in 1971 by Reprise Records. It is the only album by the band to feature Danny Whitten, and it peaked at on the Billboard 200 album chart. Members of this band had already released an album in 1968 as The Rockets, and had appeared on record twice with Neil Young as Crazy Horse

The country hoedown "Dance, Dance, Dance" is a good Young cast-off, while the driving "Beggars Day" and "Nobody" were penned by Lofgren. These contributions serve as the supporting material for Whitten's songs, however, as his five numbers are among the album's best, whether he's rocking out on the ominous "Downtown" (which appears to be about scoring dope) or sadly crooning the heartbreaking ballad "I Don't Want to Talk About I. (After being revived by Rod Stewart on Atlantic Crossing in 1975, the song was a chart single.

The famed Crazy Horse Paris, following two separate auditions, one that was held on the 12th of January 2015 in Paris and the other, the next day and for the first time ever, in Marseille, at the Espace 81, has integrated seven new dancers into its acclaimed Crazy Girls dance troupe. These new recruits needed to meet the stringent physical requirements set forth by Alain Bernardin, Crazy Horse Paris founder and great admirer of women and femininity, in 1951, so as to respect the tradition and spirit of this legendary venue.
