The second work in Stephen Philips' Cycles series utilizes quiet a bit more than its predecessor, Cycles 1, but the two fit together so well that the line of demarcation is blurred and virtually unrecognizable. The three works that make up the Cycles series should be played together continuously rather than individually. Philips' Cycles 2 is almost like the soundtrack for a long-running dream. With Cycles 2, as well as Cycles 1 and Cycles 3, this is a single, long-running, long-form composition that is subtitled "Endless Dream" and clocks in at about 61 minutes
