War & Peace Volume 2 (The Peace Disc) is the sixth studio album by American rapper Ice Cube, released March 21, 2000 on his own label Lench Mob Records with distribution by Priority Records. It is the second part from the two-album project War & Peace; the previous volume, War & Peace Vol. 1 (The War Disc) was released in 1998

So now, let’s get to the album at hand. I had some mixed feelings on Vol. 1 but as an overall project, I can say I rather enjoyed a good portion of it. Now this. ot so much.

The Peace disc is Ice Cube's worst album ever. In fact, he's never released a weak album untill now. I am one of those who loved The War Disc - yes, I think it's really good. But the Peace disc - it's a whole new ball-game. I had to force myself to give it a 3 and not less. The album has some great songs and some really, really WACK ones. Excellent music and a duplicate to the first album. Ice Cube lyrics expresses alot of pain for the psychologically stirred up black company that makes it an expression of black voices.

The second volume of Ice Cube's War & Peace album finds the multi-talented veteran MC evolving beyond a mere gangsta rap artist. Of course, Ice Cube doesn't admit his maturity, starting the album off with an excellent song titled "Hello" featuring MC Ren and Dr. Dre. The Dre-produced song has the ex-NWA members rapping "I started this gangsta /and this is the thanks I get?" and reinstating their thug stance. Besides this opening song, Cube also is heard later on the album rapping to "keep in gangsta," yet for as much as Cube flexes about being.

War & Peace Volume 1 (The War Disc) Ice Cube. Bow Down Westside Connection. Supreme hustle (uh huh), I got supreme muscle (yep) I call em team tustle (yeah yeah). verse two) {1:43} You be the one that we laugh at (ha ha) You be the one that can't have that (uh uhn) You be the one to get your ass cracked (crack!) You be the one that's takin' live rounds You be the one thats got to run from them bloodhounds You be the one with the eight babies My seven ladies, still dressin' like the eighties You be the one that just checked in emergency You be the one thats a die, in need of surgery

Ice Cube is one of the most iconic names in entertainment. From his start with the legendary and controversial group NWA to his days in the Westside Connection, and of course his illustrious solo career, Cube has managed to weave gangster rap, conscious rap, and party rap (periodically) together throughout his career. His aggression is top notch, and helps to lift his music to another level, earning him the title of an official legend in this game. 10. War & Peace Vol. 1: The War Disc (1998). We have to start the list with the absolute worst album in Cube’s discography and it’s such a forgettable project.
