Alphabox - Messier 1. Released almost six years after One Point Two, One Point Three comes as a two-part CD, named Archive A and B, both limited to 100 copies each, and as a 23-track digital album. The project features tracks from Rednetic regulars Utility Player, Ukkonen, An On Bast, Wil Bolton (Cheju) and Murray Fisher (MINT), the latter in a rare appearance under his own name, plus a host of contributions from artists from all over the world, all showcasing a much vaster scope of genres than on previous instalments.

Archive was formed in 1994 as a trip-hop band when Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths formed up with Roya Arab and rapper Rosko John. After releasing a few singles on their own label, they broke up in early 1996 following a dispute. A few months later, the group reformed with new personnel and began recording their debut album. Londinium was released on Island Records in September 1996. The album featured a mix of dark trip hop, electronica, string arrangements and classically influenced songwriting. Between 2002 and 2005, the band released three studio albums with Walker to further growing popularity and critical acclaim.

Archive biography ARCHIVE started off as a trip-hop outfit back in 1994 when Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths got together with female singer Roya Arab and a young rapper named Roski John. They released a few singles on their own Swam label and broke up in 1996 following some dispute. At this point the album starts to get mediocre and boring again. Hatchet" has a good solid beat by the time it gets to the end of the song, but it takes way too long to get there that you almost don't care when it does take off. "Damage" is another one that sounds like it's going to build up to something, but when it finally arrives at the 3 minute mark, it isn't the payoff that you expect. It's honestly surprising how different these songs are to the first three, and I feel the album could be a bit better if they were more spread out.
