It was released on 27 August 2001 in the United Kingdom by London Records and on 16 October 2001 in the United States by Reprise Records. It was the band's first studio album in eight years, following 1993's Republic, and was their last to feature their classic lineup. Peter Hook said of the album's title "The title of the album is Get Ready so it could mean anything or nothing.
Авторы текста и музыки. Peter Hook, Gillian Gilbert, Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris. WMG (от лица компании "London Records"); LatinAutor - UMPG, LatinAutor, UMPI, CMRRA, ASCAP, LatinAutor - Warner Chappell" и другие авторские общества (4). Композиция.
The surprising thing about much of this album, though, is how much it rocks. Bernard Sumner's guitar is prominent and gritty, thrashing through songs like "Crystal" (the opening track and first single) with a driving, almost garage-y tone.
And the band are no strangers to the collaborative proces. wen Stefani – The Real Thing (2004) Bernard Sumner and Peter Hook sat alongside Prince collaborators Wendy & Lisa on this forgotten track from Stefani’s boppers debut solo album Love. Corgan sounds like he’s phoned in his vocal from 1998.

I want to start with your new record. Music Complete came out last year. In saying that though, it is predominantly a dance music record. Why a more electronic release rather than a more guitar driven record for this one?
