Bombaj Štampa is a cult Bosnian rock band that played an important role in creating the movement called "Novi Primitivizam" ("The New Primitivism"), along with Zabranjeno Pušenje and Elvis J. Kurtović & his Meteors. Bombaj Štampa was formed in Sarajevo, Bosnia, in 1982, by guitarist Nedim Babović and singer and actor Branko Đurić-Đuro. The activities of the band were limited because of Đuro's acting career, so the first album, called simply Bombaj Štampa, wasn't released until 1987.
