Seasick is the debut studio album by the American indie rock band Imperial Teen, released on May 7, 1996 by Slash Records. Anyone expecting Faith No More's fractured art weirdness was in the wrong place with Imperial Teen, but those with an ear for attractive, quietly wry pop/rock that didn't give a care for being alternative in the '90s' marketable sense will find Seasick an enjoyable debut.

There is absolutely nothing that isn't fun about this record. The eponymous track is undeniably groovy, and the rest of the album is a crunchy-riffed, yet bouncy time capsule of the mid-90s. Almost everybody was at least a little Nirvana-y at the time, but Imperial Teen managed to rise just far enough above that sea of influence to make something that really does stand the test of time.
