So, this is RX Bandits second album, after the much acclaimed ''Progress'' album. And boy, has progress been made. Out growing the ska-punk roots and fufiling that suspicion that they could be something more, RX Bandits truly blossom on this album. Staying true to their reggae roots, the album deals with a fair bunch of social/political issues. Opener ''Sell You Beaufitul'' burts straight out htere with a rockign anthem questioning superficiality in today's society.

Renews automatically. Whichever background you hail from, there's something to like on "The Resignation. From blistering punk rails against superficiality ("Sell You Beautiful") to politically-charged reggae rave-ups ("Overcome"), to moody, dark dance-rock that, for once, actually takes absolutely no inspiration from Depeche Mode at all ("Taking Chase As The Serpent Slithers"), it's a record that fires on all cylinders and never fails to deliver ("Decrescendo").

Progress is an album released by Rx Bandits on July 17, 2001 through Drive-Thru Records. The LP was originally titled Artificial Intelligence and the Fall of Technology. The album was recorded during a tumultuous time in the band's lineup

And the Battle Begun is the fifth album by the Rx Bandits and is also the band's first album released by Matt Embree's label Mash Down Babylon.
