Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection is the North American version of the second compilation album by the English rock band Def Leppard. The 2-disc anthology featuring 35 hit songs by the band and was released in North America on 17 May 2005. The album charted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Its worldwide release equivalent, Best of Def Leppard, has a slightly different track listing, different artwork, different "previously unreleased" song and was released on 25 October 2004.

Def Leppard released their Rock Of Ages The Definitive Collection album on this day in 2005 in the USA and Canada. The second greatest hits compilation album to be released by the band and the North American version of the 'Best Of Def Leppard' release from 2004. The 2CD set featured new single 'No Matter What' which was the first cover version released as a single in the USA. Also a first taste of the 2006 'YEAH!' covers album. The single had been released the day before the album and was the first cover version released as a single by the band in North America.
