Iury Lech is a transdisciplinary artist part of the few pioneers in the Spanish electronic and digital audio-visual scene that began to develop during the 80‘s. His open and unclassifiable style made of eerie sonic atmospheres, arrhythmic structures and dense textures create hypnotic ambiance and a new way to conceive experimentalism. at that time, Música para el fin de los cantos is a stunning and deeply emotive ambient work, that stares down at the eternal enigma, giving a glimpse of Iury Lech’s classical music of the future.

Iury Lech is a composer, movie maker and writer. By the late '80s he began to release his albums. リエーション: すべてを閲覧中 Iury Lech.

Notes

The dissident feeling that inspires Instorments, dedicated In Memoriam to martyrs all around the world (Palestina, Irak, Ukraine, Chechnya, et al) has been developing in me as an replevying device against the arbitrary imposition of inadequate global systems upon millenarian idiosyncrasies, factual victims of the civiliser barbarianism, which fight solely by means of the fury of the freedom against the massacre proceeding from destabilizing invasions, selective exterminations, groundless wars. From the antipodes, the unstable and arbitrary atmosphere created by the artificial thought, plus the cult in instantaneous celebrity as a reflection of the vacuity which we have constructed instead of a world in fullness, is combatable by means of a sonority on the brink of chromatic rapture. Plundered the creativity of the sense of being a transfixion instrument, artists have become caricatures of themselves, looking only for immediate success whatever the cost. Certain contemporary music exists, nevertheless, that progresses in a line of shade, that reproduces by fissiparity, or spontaneous fission, threading reduced cores detached from the model of mercantile usury and the methods of terrorist manipulation induced from mass media, from a dying cultural industry, from the tendentious hegemony of official institutions. With it's distorted title, this tribute drinks of an amalgam of chaos, fit and laceration, and impelled by a tormented storm flies over the impossible human, stunned, prisoner of a civilization that uses cruelty and legalized murder the only argument of dialogue with the other and the nature, fomenting an excessive depredatory hunger that in the name of the progress devastates cities, fields of culture, libraries, sanctuaries, forests, amphitheatres, childhoods, deserts, souls, everything that presents the erasure from the consciences and the maps of the beliefs the inviolable capacity of mimesis.
