Renaud Pierre Manuel Séchan (French pronunciation: ), known as Renaud (French: (listen); born 11 May 1952), is a popular French singer, songwriter and actor. His characteristically 'broken' voice makes for a very distinctive vocal style. Several of his songs are popular classics in France, including the sea tale "Dès que le vent soufflera", the irreverent "Laisse béton", the ballad "Morgane de toi" and the nostalgic "Mistral gagnant"

Interview (stylized ĭn′terview) is the eighth album by British progressive rock band Gentle Giant. The album was released in 1976. It is a concept album conceived as a radio interview. Three of the tracks integrate brief "interview" sections which were staged in the studio. The title song has lyrics derived from the type of question and answer dialogue they had encountered while talking to the music press. This album was critically and commercially less successful than their previous album Free Hand.

Europe persists in expiating, or believing they are expiating, the horrors inflicted on Jews during the last war by importing onto its territory millions of people who, as soon as they are here, have nothing more urgent than to inflict horrors on Jews. Racism turned Europe into a field of ruins; anti-racism is making it a hate-filled slum. In both instances, the first victims are the Jews. Europe is a sort of a great Israel, threatened from all sides.

Active since the 70s, Renaud has written some very controversial songs during his musical career, the most famous one (to British readers at least) praising all women as being better than men except Margaret Thatcher, saying that if he comes back as a dog in his next life, he will use her as a lampost.
