Do Me Baby is the debut studio album by American recording artist Meli'sa Morgan. Released in 1986, it reached number 41 on the US Billboard Pop Albums and number 4 on the US R&B Albums chart. The album features the number-one R&B hit "Do Me, Baby", a cover of the Prince song. Alto Saxophone – Najee. Arranged By – Robert Aries. Art Direction – Roy Kohara.

Do Me, Baby" is a 1981 ballad performed by Prince, from his fourth album, Controversy. It was released as the third and final US single from the album. It was later included on his 1993 compilation The Hits/The B-Sides. The song was notably covered in 1986 by R&B singer Meli'sa Morgan, whose version reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100.

When Meli'sa Morgan debuted with Do Me Baby in 1986, many R&B singers were so obsessed with crossing over to the pop charts that they bent over backwards to dilute their music - but not Morgan. Greatly influenced by Chaka Khan but far from a clone, the big-voiced belter made it clear that she was very much an R&B singer on this highly promising CD. Sounding seasoned, confident and mature, Morgan tended to appeal to the type of adult audience that also favored Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson and Anita Baker

Meli'sa Morgan is an African American R&B singer born in Queens, New York who had a string of urban contemporary and house music hits in the 1980s and 1990s.
