JoJo co-wrote two out of the 15 tracks on the album. Recording sessions for the album begun after JoJo completed filming Aquamarine, with over 30 songs being recorded for the album. The High Road was promoted through various televised and festival appearances as an official tour never eventuated. I feel that doing 30 songs was fine for the album. Some people would say that's too many to do, and it's costly to record that many songs.

from the album Songs About the Working Man. Released. Many other versions of "Six Days on the Road" have been recorded, with three of them also being chart hits for other artists. Johnny Rivers took his remake to No. 58 on the country charts and No. 105 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1974. Steve Earle recorded the song for the 1987 movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and his version reached No. 29 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in early 1988. Dudley recorded a re-written Christmas version entitled "Six Tons of Toys" on his 1982 album Trucker's Christmas. This was covered by Paul Brandt on his 1997 album A Paul Brandt Christmas: Shall I Play for You?.

Harley Davidson Road Songs. Harley Davidson Road Songs features a total of 30 hard rock classics spread across two discs. All of the songs either reference the biker lifestyle or feature biker motifs. The emphasis is partly on '70s legends - Bob Seger, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers - and a couple of hard rock bands: .

1. Lonesome Road - Duane Eddy. 2. Love or Money - The Blackwells. 3. Roll Over Beethoven - The Velaires. Forty Miles of Bad Road - Duane Eddy.

Feels Like We Only Go Backwards. Hard to name a TP song that isn't right for the road, but this one is the most literal. Going Down the Road Feelin' Bad," the Grateful Dead. When feeling bad feels good, time to get in the car and drive. The Dead certainly had more famous travel songs but none as groovy as this one. "Midnight Rider," Allman Brothers. Like the Dead, the Allmans had a lot of songs about the road. Including this one, irresistible on the blacktop whether you're an actual fugitive or not. "The road goes on forever".

The album, Road Songs For Lovers, continues Rea’s obsession with travel and motion and includes songs with titles such as Happy On The Road, The Road Ahead, The Last Train as well as Road Songs For Lovers itself. The Road Ahead will be the first single to be released from the album – on July 29th. Road Songs For Lovers was recorded at Metropolis Studios earlier this year. The track-listing runs as follows: Happy On The Road, Nothing Left Behind, Road Songs For Lovers, Money, Two Lost Souls, Rock My Soul, Moving On, The Road Ahead, Last Train, Angel Of Love, Breaking Point, Beautiful
