Good Vibrations – Best of The Beach Boys is the fourth official compilation album by The Beach Boys, and the first on their Brother Records imprint.

When the unofficial release turned out to be a surprise smash, a successor, Spirit of America, was rushed out in the spring of 1975 and was almost as successful. Due to newer and more comprehensive compilations, Good Vibrations – Best of The Beach Boys has long since been deleted.

The first compilation album to encompass the Beach Boys' 1970s work is barely that, as a result of the circumstances of its release in mid-1975.

The three-volume Good Vibrations series is designed with the hits-hungry fan in mind. Eschewing a strict chronological approach, the best-of sets are arranged according to charting position. Thus the initial collection is laden with the group's trademark tunes, ranging from the California boys' first top 10 charter, 1962's "Surfin' Safari," to their last, 1988's "Kokomo," a stray, post-Brian Wilson success. Kokomo" is by far the newest selection included here; nothing else dates past 1966's No. 1 smash, "Good Vibrations. 409, Good Vibrations, Barbara Ann and MUCH more are all here performed by the Beach Boys. No unknown bands perform on this collection. It sounds better than ever due to modern technology.
