Burning Love is a hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada formed in 2007. The band consists of Chris Colohan of the hardcore band Cursed and of the ex-members of Toronto-based sludge band, Our Father. The band have released two albums, two EPs and a number of split singles. Burning Love started in 2007 as a side project to the Toronto bands Cursed and Our Father

Burning Love is just too fucking proficient to be sloppy. I bet these guys have huge muscles. The B-side, a Laughing Hyenas cover of Love’s My Only Crime, tries to be funky and fails spectacularly. It’s dark and dirty and loud and great. Burning Love knows that manic energy and a hunky lead singer isn’t enough without actual songwriting or musicianship. There’s a lot to be said for Punk Rock Done Right.

Black Widow is the eponymous second album by English rock band Black Widow. It was issued in 1971 on CBS Records (the same year Black Sabbath's Master of Reality was released) and was produced by Patrick Meehan Jr. On Black Widow, the occult-based lyrical themes that had dominated the band's debut disappeared. Burning Love have confirmed a May 08th release date for their new Black Widow EP via High Anxiety/No Idea. The effort will feature a song inspired by Southern Ontario serial killer Karla Homolka dubbed Karla on Side A. The B-side will be a cover of Laughing Hyenas‘ Love’s My Only Crime. The groups new album Rotten Thing To Say will follow in May/June through Southern Lord.

Burning Love is a four-piece (this was an extremely recent reduction in personnel from being a five-piece) hardcore band from Toronto which manages to infuse its music with enough rock 'n' roll to prevent them being anything that just blends in with a plethora of other groups
