Talk about Peter Andersson - Music For Film And Exhibition I & Natura Fluxus

Fenrinos
Peter Andersson's solo work which is an epitomized mixture of his side projects. The nature of the sound is deep, compositions are multi-dimensional, though the tracks structure is quite repetitive, at times rotating, but always of the highest 'introspective' quality. Most of the titles are based around one central theme, which tends to develop in a few tracks, but mostly they have one cornerstone to carefully mould a spectral tower layer upon layer. Some tracks are slow-paced ambient fillers, or proper compositions, some are upbeat (Disk 1 is more ambient, with several truly uplifting moments, and Disk 2 is darker ambient, which becomes absolutely cryptic by the end.) The DVD production is neat, though amateur, of course, pretty much in Tarkovsky's vein of debris aesthetics, and still-life panaromas into close-ups (my fav installation is an extra 'Mandala'). To a certain degree this production is a summing-up signpost in a prolific career of a legendary Swedish musician. A rare example when minimalism broadens one's vision and simplicity astounds the conscious. Another important aspect of this recording, at least to me, is that it is NOT a world music colourless whatsoever, instead - it DOES possess the idiosyncratic Scandinavian cold beauty of the widest spectre. Recommended.

Peter Andersson from the Cold Meat Industry act raison d’etre now presents his sound work for film and exhibition, spanning through the years 1999 to 2006. Peter has been working on several film and exhibition projects, some of these projects never went to final completion but the music was composed in almost all the cases. Music for Film and Exhibition presents a broad spectrum of the sounds and music capabilities of Peter Andersson and those familiar with any of his different music projects including raison d'etre, Necrophorus, Atomine Elektrine, Bocksholm etc… will most probably enjoy this double album (Music duration 151 min.) very much..For now Infinite Fog Productions presents complite edition of 'Music for Film and Exhibition I" which contains real DVD with Natura Fluxus - film by Peter Andersson and Lars Bosma + some rare bonuses, like another Peter's films - Autumn Leaves; Mandala; Dritfing Wall; Nature Morte e.t. Total play time approx. 83 minutes! Natura Fluxus brings us on a poetic, existential and suggestive journey dealing with matters like abandonment, desolation, emptiness, inanimation, remembrance and residual energy through places where we can spot traces of presence of mankind. Discover the aesthetic beauty in old factories and ruins: in the perishable and the metamorphoses that follow. Natura Fluxus is a experimental film where concrete, environmental sounds and original scored music blend with visual stunning sceneries of rarely seen places. The film is in B/W and Color.Highly recommended! Masterpiece of ambient music!
