Indian folk music (Hindi: भारतीय लोक संगीत) is diverse because of India's vast cultural diversity. It has many forms including bhangra, lavani, dandiya, Sufi folk rock, and Rajasthani. Andhra Pradesh: Madiga Dappu, Mala Jamidika. Assam: Bihugeet, Tokarigeet, Kamrupi Lokgeet, Goalparia Lokogeet. Chhattisgarh: Pandavani. This collection of Indian music from West Bengal in the east, Haryana in the north, Kerla in the south, and Rajastan from western India represent the product of several centuries of a flourishing musical tradition.
