The Royal Court Theatre. Not an essential album, then, but certainly an enjoyable one. Track Listing. 1. Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream).
Alan Price (born 19 April 1942) is an English musician, best known as the original keyboardist for the British band the Animals and for his subsequent solo work. Price was born in Fatfield, Washington, County Durham, and was educated at Jarrow Grammar School, County Durham. He is a self-taught musician and was a founding member of the Tyneside group "The Alan Price Rhythm and Blues Combo", which was later renamed the Animals. His second album, A Price on His Head (1967), featured seven songs by Randy Newman, who was virtually unknown at that time. In August 1967, he appeared with the Animals at the hippy love-in that was held in the grounds of Woburn Abbey. A Rock'n'Roll Night At The Royal Court Theatre (Ket Records) 1980.

The Rock-n-Roll Theatre poster is one of the classic artworks in the catalogue of Howard Temen. Until recently there was not a definitive key for the over 170 faces in this mesmerizing illustration. Now all those legendary rockers have been identified -thanks to a lot of help from the artist himself.

George Devine became artistic director and opened the English Stage Company at the Royal Court in 1956 as a subsidised theatre producing new British and foreign plays, together with some classical revivals. Devine aimed to create a writers' theatre, seeking to discover new writers and produce serious contemporary works, often becoming involved in issues of censorship. He produced John Osborne's Look Back in Anger in 1956, which was later seen as the starting point of modern British drama
Liam Grundy's music is rock ‘n’ roll with a touch of country and a dash of New Orleans. Liam said it was a "great honour" to perform with members of Elvis Presley's TCB band. TCB stands for Taking Care of Business, which was a motto the King of rock and roll adopted in the early 1970s. They were all really nice, and very laidback about what they had seen and done," said the Manchester artist. The Liam Grundy Band will be performing at the Queen's Theatre in Billet Lane on Monday, July 15 at 8pm. Visit queens-theatre. uk or call 033 for tickets.
