Joue Free (Play Free) is a return to basics for clarinetist Robert M. Lepage, as he pays a very personal tribute to Jimmy Giuffre. His acolytes are experimental guitarist Bernard Falaise (of Papa Boa and Klaxon Gueule) and jazz bassist Normand Guilbeault (the Riel project). Lepage's clarinet soars, drawing melodies light as a feather, while Falaise weaves textures with his pedal-volume electric guitar and Guilbeault anchors it all with his jazzier approach

Robert Marcel Lepage is a musician, composer and Quebec cartoonist born July 5, 1951 in Montreal, in Canada. Clarinetist and saxophonist training, follower of improvisation and multi-media performance, it is first of all, in the 80s, associated with the underground scene of contemporary music in Montreal, working among others with Pierre Hébert and René Lussier. In the company of the latter, as well as Michel F. Côté, Jean Derome and others, in 1983 he created the label Magnetic Environments (grouping independent producers) with which it produces fifteen discs.

Marcel Bernard (French pronunciation: ; 18 May 1914 – 29 April 1994) was a French tennis player. He is best remembered for having won the French Championships in 1946 (reaching the semifinals a further three times). Bernard initially intended to play only in the doubles event but was persuaded to enter the singles competition as well. He defeated Jaroslav Drobný in the final in five sets.
