Pines of Rome (Italian title: Pini di Roma) is a four-movement symphonic poem for orchestra completed in 1924 by the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi. The piece, which depicts pine trees in four locations in Rome at different times of the day, is the second of Respighi's trilogy of tone poems based on the city, along with Fountains of Rome (1917) and Roman Festivals (1928).

Villa Farnesina, located in Rome (Trastevere), is considered one of the noblest and most harmonious creations of Italian Renaissance. At the beginning of the sixteenth century, it was commissioned by the Sienese banker Agostino Chigi to the architect Baldassarre Peruzzi. The interior is decorated with frescoes by Raphael Sanzio, Sebastiano del Piombo, Giovanni da Udine, Giovanni Bazzi known as il Sodoma, Giulio Romano, Giovan Francesco Penni, and Baldassarre Peruzzi himself. Villa Farnesina is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm and every second Sunday of the month from 9am to 5pm. For groups (max 35 people) the use of earphones is recommended. The Vanguards was one of Norway's most popular rock band during the 1960's they mostly played cover songs. A british indie band.

Perhaps the Villa di Roma kitchen was scrimping on spices and tomatoes, all of the key ingredients that give the tomato gravy its heavenly taste. If we were disappointed with the pasta, we were mortified by Villa di Roma's steak. Overcooked (in the oven), the mussels were dry with ugly patches of spots. Clearly, Villa di Roma is a restaurant wannabe that seems to be coasting along with an ""anything goes"" attitude. Pasta dishes were pathetic and a complete negation of Italian cooking. Villa di Roma is an Italian restaurant that fails at the most elementary tasks. Just what is this restaurant capable of? The sad answer, not much. but once you get a taste of it it's all you're in the mood for. We love it.

It came out after waiting 45 minutes so at least one member of the party got to eat because no one else's dishes cane out for another 45 minutes, eveb with an empty dining room.
