Album Surfin' Safari. Surfing is the only life The only way for me Now surf, surf with me Bom Bom Dit Di Dit Dip. I got up this morning turned on my radio I was checking on the surfing scene To see if I would go And when the DJ tells me that the surfing is fine That's when I know my baby and I will have a good time. Surfin' was The Beach Boy’s first single ever released in November of 1961, with Luau on the B Side. The song also features on their full length debut Surfin' Safari. The song was not a huge radio hit, peaking at 75 on the US charts, but it was the first song to establish what became The Beach Boy’s iconic surf rock sound, and the single effectively launched their career.
