I have a reissue of this album. It seems to match this listing but there is a difference. My copy is pressed on Black Marbled Vinyl. Are ALL copies that way or do I have a different pressing? That feline-titled single, a nostalgic look back at Eek-A-Mouse's early days in the sound systems, had mashed up Jamaica back in 1982, one of a clutch of singles that were bundled onto 1984's Mouseketeer album. There's also "Star, Daily News or Gleaner" which may name-check all three of the island's newspapers, but is less concerned with Jamaica's press than the sufferer eking out a living selling them.

Eek-a-Mouse, whose real name is Ripton Joseph Hylton, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall performer who began recording in 1982. He has released several albums including 'Skidip!' (1982), 'Mouseketeer' (1984), 'Mouse-a-Mania' (1988), 'U-Neek' (1991), 'Black Cowboy' (1996), 'Eeka-Speeka' (2004), 'Live in San Francisco' (2006), 'Eekziled' (2011) and 'Give It to Them' (2016). His best-known singles are 'Wa Do Dem' and 'Ganja Smuggling'.
