Gallows is the third album by English hardcore punk band Gallows and the first full-length to feature new lead vocalist Wade Macneil, who replaced original frontman Frank Carter in August 2011, when Carter left to form new band Pure Love. It is also the last album to feature guitarist Steph Carter.

The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Spycatcher members Thomas Mitchener and Steve Sears at Watford's Broadfields Studio and was released on 10 September 2012 via the band's new label Venn Records in partnership with PIAS Recordings.

Gallows made their debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, on a minimal budget in September 2006 after signing to the Nottingham label In at the Deep End Records. In March 2007, shortly after a SXSW gig in Austin, Gallows secured a record deal with Epitaph Records, which made plans to re-release the band's first album, with three bonus tracks, on North American soil that July. Two years later, the band returned with its sophomore album, Grey Britain. In 2011, the band announced it had parted ways with singer Carter

Gallows released their debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, in 2006. It was distributed in the United States by independent label Epitaph in 2007.

Whether Gallows is better or worse than what came before is a moot point. Some of the hallmarks remain; wanton aggression, breakneck pace and disparate moods planted throughout. What does stand out here is the album’s lean qualities. Eleven songs fly by in a matter of 32 minutes; fat trimmed, excesses dispensed with and a more palatable, back-to-basics approach is implemented. In accordance with their imposed and circumstantial philosophy, Gallows concentrate solely on the present and my word, these fellas have a LOT to say about the modern world.
