ric Alfred Leslie Satie (French: ; 17 May 1866 – 1 July 1925), who signed his name Erik Satie after 1884, was a French composer and pianist. Satie was an influential artist in the late 19th- and early 20th-century Parisian avant-garde. His work was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music, and the Theatre of the Absurd.

Erik Satie (1866-1925) came of age in the bohemian subculture of Montmartre, with its artists' cabarets and caf¿s-concerts. Yet apologists have all too often downplayed this background as potentially harmful to the reputation of a composer whom they regarded as the progenitor of modern French music. Whiting argues, on the contrary, that Satie's two decades in and around Montmartre decisively shaped his aesthetic priorities and compositional strategies.

The album covers are a little flimsy and the inside sleeves are ok. Overall I would def get these if your originals are beat u. .or if you are a die hard Maiden fan but def not to replace your existing collection. 5 people found this helpful.
