Jar Moff preps debut album for PAN. The Athens-based collage artist will release his first full-length, Commercial Mouth, in December. First acts announced for CTM 2013. Emptyset, Mark Fell, Lee Gamble, Matmos and Diamond Version are some of the artists booked for the experimental festival in Berlin.

(Possibly) taking leaves out of KK Null's book (or maybe crushing then to a pulp), alongside oblique invocations of classic musique concrete, Todd Rundgren's outre 1970s synth experiments and almost everyting else of note, this is nothing short of brilliant. While, arguably, PAN over-hyped releases like Ortmann's 'Provocative Electronics', be assured that 'Commercial Mouth' is the real deal, offering something totally new yet weirdly familiar, ergo precisely the qualities you should rightfully expect from contemporary electronic music.  An unequivocal yes from me.
