Back on Top is a 1968 album by the all-male group The O'Jays, featuring their biggest hit for the Bell label, "I'll Be Sweeter Tomorrow (Than I Was Today)". Their hit "Look Over Your Shoulder" was also included on this album. George Kerr produced the album with Pat Jaques engineering. Richard Tee was the conductor and arranger. Original O'Jays members Eddie Levert, William Powell, Walter Williams and Bobby Massey all contributed to this album, and all four were pictured on its cover.
Look Over Your Shoulder.
Look over your shoulder and remember that there is always someone walking behind you who may need your love, your support and your heart. We are not in this world alone. Connect to the people who mean the most to you and encourage them to pay it forward to someone else. For an album that came out 41 years ago, it still sounds incredbily fresh and flawless. If you're looking to take a stab at 60s & 70s soul and r&b, then I'd recommend starting with some The O'Jays, especially this album. Check out Back On Top today! Stand out tracks: I'll Be Sweeter Tomorrow, I'm So Glad I Found You, That's Alright, Look Over Your Shoulder, You're Too Sweet, Four for the Price of One, Now That I've Found You, I'll Be Seeing You, and The Choice.
Перевод текста песни Look What I Found исполнителя (группы) Lady Gaga. Heart all over the floor. Осколки моего сердца валялись на полу. Ever since you put me back together. Look what you found, yeah, baby. Смотри, что ты нашёл, милый, Look what I found. Посмотри, что я нашла: Someone who carries around a piece of my heart. Кого-то, кто повсюду носит с собой кусочек моего сердца, Look what I found, woo, c'mon. Посмотри, что я нашла, уо-у, ну же, Look what I found. Смотри, что я нашла: Somebody who loves me. Кого-то, кто любит меня. Посмотри, что мы нашли! Someone who carries around a piece of my heart, heart.
So glad I got it because this is the perfect thing to kick off a rainy Sunday morning. Beautiful smooth jams. A sealed used copy found its way into droomrecords and shortly thereafter the idea for the minerecords reissue was born between the brothers Cole. Remastered and reissued for the first time since 1970. Barbara Howard was a well kept Cincinnati secret, now told by Colemine. I’m fact when you google her you need to dig just to find anything on her and then it’s all new info. Just look over your shoulder, you'll find me waiting. I know you found someone but say that you love me. But say that you love me. And I haven't the right to keep asking you.
Then you smiled over your shoulder For a minute, I was stone cold sober I pulled you closer to my chest And you asked me to stay over I said, I already told ya I think that you should get some rest. I'm gonna love you till My lungs give out I promise 'til death we part Like in our vows So I wrote this song for you Now everybody knows That it's just you and me Until we're grey and old Just say you won't let go Just say you won't let go. Just say you won't let go Oh, just say you won't let go. More on Genius. James Arthur Breaks Down "Say You Won't Let Go" On Genius' Video Series 'Verified'.
When you looked over your shoulder For a minute I forget that I'm older I wanna dance with you right now, oh And you look as beautiful as ever And I swear that every day you'll get better You make me feel this way somehow. I'm so in love with you And I hope you know Darling, your love is more than worth its weight in gold We've come so far, my dear Look how we've grown And I wanna stay with you Until we're grey and old Just say you won't let go Just say you won't let go. I wanna live with you Even when we're ghosts 'Cause you were always there.
