I'm Glad There Is You. Artist: Gloria Lynne. Album: Try a Little Tenderness - I'm Glad There Is You, 1999. BTW This is the first version I heard :) Love the lyrics! Show more.

In this world of over-rated treasures Of under-rated pleasures I'm so glad there is you. I live to love I love to live with you be, beside me This role so new I'll muddle through, with you to guide me. So in this world where many, many play at love And hardly any stay in love I'm glad there is you more than ever I'm glad there is you. I live to love I love to live with you beside me This role so new I'll muddle through with you to guide me. So in this world, in this world, in this world Where many, many play at love But hardly any stay in love I'm glad there is y. .

Both Try a Little Tenderness and I'm Glad There Is You are fine examples of Gloria Lynne's exceptional vocal talents, showcasing her way with a ballad. While songs like "Indian Love Call" and "Bali Ha'I" aren't suited for her warm, engaging voice, most of the disc is devoted to songs like "Old Man River," "Stella By Starlight," "A Hundred Years from Today" and "Birth of the Blues," songs that show how sensitive, bluesy, ballsy and flat-out wonderful she could be. Released by Essential Media Group Oct 2013. "source":4,"source id":"160533","object type":4,"id":"160533","title":"Gloria Lynne","status":0}. The duration of song is 05:31. This song is sung by Gloria Lynne.
