Enoch Henry Light (18 August 1905, in Canton, Ohio – 31 July 1978, in Redding, Connecticut) was a classically trained violinist, danceband leader, and recording engineer. As the leader of various dance bands that recorded as early as March 1927 and continuing through at least 1940, Light and his band primarily worked in various hotels in New York. For a time in 1928 he also led a band in Paris. In the 1930s Light also studied conducting with the French conductor Maurice Frigara in Paris.

The Stone Roses is the debut studio album by English rock band the Stone Roses. It was recorded mostly at Battery Studios in London with producer John Leckie from June 1988 to February 1989 and released in May of that year by Silvertone Records. The Stone Roses was not an immediate success, but grew popular with the band's high-profile concert performances, which also helped establish them as fixtures of the Madchester and baggy cultural scenes.

Jimmy Bowen Orchestra & Chorus. Sunday Morning With The Comics (Album).

CCM pianist Enoch began his music ministry in 1984, touring India in the hope of bringing the word of Christianity to the nation's citizens; in the years to follow he travelled well over 250,000 miles annually to deliver his songs of praise and worship to the far corners of the world. Hymns from the Heart, Ivory Persuasion, Rhythm & Roses and Let the Earth Proclaim, cut with the Otis Skillings Orchestra and the Sandi Patty Family.

But the story of The Stone Roses is really a tale of two records, divided by an ocean. As Sony (which now owns original label Silvertone) rolls out a remastered version in celebration of the album's 20th anniversary, Brits wrestle with what's become a cultural crucible.

But the key to The Stone Roses is John Squire's layers of simple, exceedingly catchy hooks and how the rhythm section of Reni and Mani always imply dance rhythms without overtly going into the disco. On "She Bangs the Drums" and "Elephant Stone," the hooks wind into the rhythm inseparably - the '60s hooks and the rolling beats manage to convey the colorful, neo-psychedelic world of acid house.
