Dżem is a Polish blues rock band. Ryszard Riedel, one of the most famous Polish vocalists, worked with the band. The band's name comes from English word jam (session) which has the same pronunciation as the Polish word "dżem", which means "jam" in the sense of a fruit preserve. The band's original name was "Jam" but before one of their concerts a woman made a mistake when she wrote their name, writing "Dżem".

While only releasing one full-fledged album (Get Smart!), singer/songwriter Anthony Meynell would embrace the '60s wholeheartedly while releasing a batch of singles that still managed to sound contemporary while exposing the many influences he wore on his sleeve. The Singles Album, originally released in 1985, features 17 moments of inspired pop genius that will appeal to fans of mod, power pop and '60s inspired ecstasy.

The Singles Album (cat no. GRADLSP 3) was released in August 1982 and is a compilation LP and the first greatest hits by British reggae band UB40, featuring all of UB40's single releases on Graduate, including the 3-track Dutch 12" single "Tyler". The album spent 8 weeks on the UK Album Chart, peaking at number 17. Track listing. UB40 are an English reggae and pop band, formed in December 1978 in Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and i. B40 at the Rock AM Ring, Nürburgring, Germany in 1987. UB40 live in Wellington, New Zealand, in 2004.
