It has been more than a whopping five years now since Stee Downes released his last album ( All In A Day, SK203CD) Singer/Producer/DJ Stee Downes released his debut album on Sonar Kollektiv in 2009, followed by a 12 remix EP which featured a remake of Letta Mbulu’s Whats wrong with groovin. In the year following he toured with his live act and played alongside people such as Roy Ayers, Amp Fiddler, Fat Freddys Drop, Bugz In The Attic and DJ Spinna.

Stee Downes has been deeply involved with all area's of the music industry since 1997. He began playing bass with a live dance music outfit called "Nu root rhythm", recorded " The Big Smoke EP", and toured Germany. Stee studied communications and media production until 2001.
